Yea. They had the Daytona as well. Which that's technically "wrong" too since the one used in the show was a kit car. But still closer than this.

Ehh, nothing is worse than pairing the Toyota 2000GT and the Nissan Skyline R34 in the "Then and Now" series. Not really the same thing at all, but still shows they don't know what they're doing half the time.
